מדובר בתקלה שנתקלים בה הרבה פעמים כאשר יוצרים Host Profiles בסביבות vSphere 6.5.
לאחר שמחילים Host Profile על שרת, הוא נשאר not compliant עם השגיאה הבאה:
לא משנה כמה פעמים תעשו apply, זה לא עוזר. אפילו ה-reference host עצמו נשאר not compliant.
אז מה עושים?
אם vmk0 של ה-host יושב על Standard Switch:
עורכים Host profile, הולכים ל-Networking Configuration –> Host Port Group ובוחרים ב-IP address settings של portgroup הניהולי (בדרך כלל ייקרא Management Network). ואז משנים את ההגדרה בשם "vnic default gateway for ipv6 routing" ל-"user must explicitly choose the policy option":
אם vmk0 יושב על vDS:
עורכים Host profile, הולכים ל-Networking Configuration –> Host virtual NIC ובוחרים ב-IP address settings של ה-vmk הרלוונטי. ואז משנים את ההגדרה בשם "vnic default gateway for ipv6 routing" ל-"user must explicitly choose the policy option":
עכשיו ה-host יהיה compliant.
